discoveries of the world thru a 'looking glass'
I purchased these wonderful purple and yellow wonders at the end of the season last year....for 75% off. They didn't look as if they had any chance of surviving with only a couple leaves in a 6" pot that had soil just dripping wet...way too much for these heat loving, drought tolerant specimans.
I love the creativity photography allows me to enjoy. A craving that every one of us needs to satisfy on an on going basis. It keeps the brain strong, the mind sane, personal growth healthy. At this point in my life.....I soak it up. I. Crave. It. Live. For. It. Each and every day. I look forward to coming home each evening anxious to find my next shot (okay....a bit repetitive lately maybe...but...life...well you know.)

I lost my father nine years ago.
I bought this huge 'cup planter' because that day...I needed the perkiness it brought out in me. I have tried to plant so many things in it...indoor plants...because I wanted it sitting on my bar area near the coffee pot. Nothing...absolutely nothing liked it in this cup, inside....including the wonderful chocolate mint that now grows wonderfully in it while it rests on my tall patio table outside.
She is a teenager.
Well....it isn't the most gorgeous picture of a rainbow you've ever seen but...it served it's purpose.
There is this awesome little wine shop up north that we stop at every time we go. Lots of awesome little gifts. The back room....filled with racks of wines of every kind.
It barely rained this afternoon. Just enough to put some 'natural drops' on a few flowers in an attempt to make them more enchanting to photograph.
I did it. I walked and photographed. For. Two. Very. Short. Hours.
